Thought I’d change it up a tad with this post. So I am going to share one of my favorite shrimp recipes. I know it’s called BBQ Shrimp, but there is no barbecuing here!  It’s a very simple process, and man are these great!

First gather up all of the needed ingredients:

1.5LB Shrimp with head on

1 Stick butter (real)

1 Lemon juiced

3-4 Cloves of garlic, chop finely

¼ cup Worcestershire sauce (Add to taste)

1 Stick rosemary, chop finely

Tony c. seasoning (or your favorite hot pepper season)

Paprika

Black pepper

Salt

12oz beer (nothing to hoppy or dark)

Start by preheating your oven to broil @ 450F

Melt the stick of butter in a small pan on your stove

Lay the shrimp out in a large baking pan

Coat the shrimp with the Tony C, pepper, salt, and paprika

Add the chopped garlic and rosemary

Pour the lemon juice over the shrimp

Pour the Worcestershire sauce over the shrimp

Take the butter off the heat and pour it over the shrimp

Now it’s time to add the beer: I went with a nice local beer. (Bayou Teche Breweries LA 31)

* Pale Ales work great, just don’t go too hoppy. A nice amber beer would work well also

Just crack it open and pour it over everything

Now just give your pan a nice shake and put it in the oven for 10min!
