So, it would only be fair to review my own beer. Though I might be a bit bias! This batch was a standard IPA, witch turned out quite delicious!

It turned out sweeter then I hoped for, but that’s my only gripe. Everyone that got to taste it claimed it was good ( hope they weren’t lying!) I have a few left if anyone wants a taste.

8o

Appearance: Poured a dark orange color, clear. Head was heavy with lots of lacing
Smell: Hoppy, also the oak really shined! I didn’t add much but it was present.
Taste: A little too sweet, nice and hoppy though. Medium bodied
Mouth Feel: Nice amounts of carbonation, left a acidic after taste…
Drinkability: Being that I’ve got 5 Gallons, its very DRINKABLE!!!

Here is the list of ingredients used:

Unhopped Amber Malt Extract  6.6 lb

Crystal Grain  1lb

Chinook Hop Pellets – 1 oz

Cascades Hop Pellets – 1 oz

Heavy Toast Oak Chips – ½ oz

Standard Ale Yeast

Very fun project, if you ever thought about making you’re own beer/wine do it! It’s not that difficult, and you’ll be surprised with the results!
